Sarge once again bragging about how dumb he is

Sarge once again bragging about how dumb he isSarge was bragging once again on Tuesday on the BEP thread about how smart he is.  In his post, Sarge referred to his post on the ENB thread on Jan 11, 2021 (post number 33272532) where he stated:

"As mentioned, we recently sold all our BEP.UN (held since Mar, 2014) and trimmed 30% of our NPI (been holding since Nov, 2014) and used the dough to add to 4 of our 4 banks (BMO, BNS, RY, TD) and 4 of our 5 midstreamers (ENB, KEY, PPL, TRP but not IPL)"

In the following couple of months from Sarge's announcement of his BEP-UN.to trade, BEP went up about 30% while the banks tanked for a bit and the Pipes rose about 5%.  Sarge never lets the facts get in the way of proudly beating his chest and he wanted to remind everyone that it only took a few months for his "blind squirrel" investing strategy to work out.

At least Sarge wasn't bragging about how rich he is this time.  We all know how Sarge likes to brag about how big his portfolio is and how much he makes or loses.  It was about a year ago in fact when Sarge was proudly writing about how his portfolio was down over a million dollars and it didn't matter to him one bit.

I guess it is better to be rich and stupid than just plain old stupid.

I got out of the market in February 2020 and informed the ENB thread why I exited (based upon information from my contacts in China).  Good ol' Sarge posted about how stupid I was for doing so by ridiculing me for getting out of ENB at $54 per share.  He was proud to tell everyone why he was happy to hold ENB, and he did, all the way down to $33 per share.

Heck, maybe by the end of the year, Sarge will be able to brag about how ENB is back up to new highs.  Too bad he will have missed the opportunity to pick up $20 per share on ENB, but why would he care when he can waste millions.

I guess Sarge never figured out that nobody thanks you for being stupid.
