Posted this on the Agra Board"Talking about AGRA"
Took a look at the new MD&A. It is mainly old boiler plate with a few updated changes.
It still has the fingerprints of the old Mangement group all over it. Sure Coppens is glad to see
it slide into history. With a new CFO in place and with her background in financial analysis and MD&A and financial reporting I think we will see better tracking and a complete revamping of all reporting systems. Steve MvAuley, CEO, Empower did an update on Empower yesterday and he mentioned that companies have till May 30 to file Q1 reports, so it doesn't give Fitzmaurice a lot
of time to start making some changes. Speaking of Empower. I am of the opinion that this
investment by Agra is going to turn out in spades. Everything appears to be going on track
and I am expecting very good results. Agra's siignificant holding in Organigram.should also do very well. The British Ameridan Tobacco company has invested $221 million on a post transaction basis 20% of the company and has two members on the board of Organigram. Selling the Winnipeg operation for those Organigram shares I think will turn out a lot better than anyone imagined. With BAT's involvement this company's shares should be in for a major jump.
I have been invested in Organigram on and off for years. They are looking for a new CEO.Will be interesting to see how this works out. I am an optomist but I could see this investment
easily more than double. I could also see Organigram take that New Brunwick campus off our hands.
