Right now they are ready to hang El Presidente for not letting go of the third tranche
of their pension funds.

This bill won't get passed in a million years. Under Chilean law all decisions on taxation rest with the President. And he has said clearly that he won't back this bill. This is political posturing from the left. Read very end of the article -
