Marimaca Copper Corp. is a Canada-based exploration and development company focused on base metal projects in Chile. The Company’s principal asset is the Marimaca Copper Project, located in the Antofagasta Region of northern Chile. The Company also has an option agreement to acquire the Pampa Medina project (Pampa Medina), which consists of four mining concessions totaling 144 hectares.

it is very polarized and with the rewriting of the constitution a lot of things can happen

The President time is almost done and he is still seen as a capitalist and I guarentee 

you if they could find a moderate socialist like Bakulet she would be in like a heartbeat.

Right now they are ready to hang El Presidente for not letting go of the third tranche

of their pension funds.

This bill won't get passed in a million years. Under Chilean law all decisions on taxation rest with the President. And he has said clearly that he won't back this bill. This is political posturing from the left. Read very end of the article - 

“This is part of the array of bills intended to create and exacerbate hate among Chileans,” Luciano Cruz-Coke, a government-aligned lawmaker, said before the vote. “We won’t indulge the left by handing over copper to bad public policy and killing the country’s main source of income.”
