RE:FWIW Dept....Indeed, for earnings to be announced before opening on a Monday, as opposed after a close on a Friday, that speaks confidence that these numbers will be interesting, otherwise you would have burried them after the close on a Friday.

Who wants to start on the a bad foot a Monday?  Nobody.  So this sounds very positive.
