While there is no law yet, American producers worked on SOL test improvement since 2015.
IIHS grades cars' safety based on SOL performance

Tesseract solution seems to be superior to what producers have now.

Japanese car SOL performance remains rather poor. If SOL is legislated, Japanese producers may look into these solutions as well
