We'll see about it, because you are still projecting your opinions only without facts.

Protecting the environment is indeed important. 

If protecting the environment is so important (and I absolutely believe it is) then why mine gold at all?
On a scale of actual usefullness it's pretty much near the bottom and causes huge environmental damage.
