NCIBNCIB reporting rules for the tsx state that the company has 10 bus. days following the month in which they repurchased shares to report the transactions and cancellations of said shares. thanks to coops for reminding me of this, I had totally forgotten when I previously posted they weren't buying back, we simply don't know yet if they have repurchased any in may, their IR might tell you if you call them.
so wef's current ncib is from aug 7/2020 to aug 10/2021.
it is for 5 % of o/s shares which is a total of 18,759,,858 shares
they repurchased 0 shares in 2020
they repurchased 0 shares in jan and feb 2021
they repuchased 1,295,000 shares from mar.17-31/ 21
they repurchased 2,537,448 shares in april/21
so that's 3,832,448 shares out of a possible 18 + mil. shares that we know of, we'll find out soon enough about may, regardless they have a ton of room to buy more until expiry on aug 10 ( which I assume will be renewed) , I doubt the get close to using it all up as they are limited ato how many they can repurchase daily ( I think it's about 25% of average daily vol, but not sure of the time period used for the daily average, so far it looks like it's been 145k but vol has sure spiked recently, lol)
hope this helps anyone interested, cheers ferret
