Just a couple of notesAu & Ag seem to be starting some kind of move, probably very soon in the next few weeks or couple of months. Not sure if this is the start of something big or not or how large a move it be but it's definitely the beginning of at least an initial step up. If this is indeed the case, i don't think it will impact the highly speculative microcap portion of this sector, but it may at the minimum give small fish like Silver Spruce a tiny bump up. Hopefully a little over a dime. I don't see any other way we get to that level (well, i didn mention ONE way before & i'll get to it in just one minute) unless we some upcoming catalyst and Au/Ag pricing seems to be the only thing that can in the foreseeable future. There seems to be an unlimited amount of shares for sale at current prices, most likely by insiders, maybe some by fed up retail holders who've been holding the bag for years and want out. But i think the majority of sellers are insiders dumping.
We had a little bit of news on one of the minor properties, nothing too exciting or material as usual. I skimmed through quickly and it looks like another generic release full of pump & frivolous promotion without any substance. The day these guys actually release something worth reading or getting excited about is the day i give them a little bit of credibility. For now though it's just a bunch of BS & parc trying to sell & promote themselves and their assets to naive investors. Like i keep on harping, this is NOT the way to get noticed or grab investor's attention, you do it by solid actions which produce material results. Not by pump!
What i was looking for the most in their release, i did not find. Again no word on the status of
Pino de Plata or what is being done to move the project ahead. Like i mentioned above, just a mere "postive" resolution of this MAJOR asset would rerate the company's shares and imo would probably double from here. But nada, ziltch, zero absolutely no word again. I starting to believe that their reluctance to deal with it by focusing on other assets & deafening silence on the matter that this project is most likely roadkill, done. I hope this isn't case, but everyting the company has done up to now point in that direction. And for me actions speak louder than words. It would be a GREAT loss for the company if Pino is scrapped as i believed this was the ONE to put them on the path to success. It was the MAIN reason why i also invested in here and if this is to be written off, i might have to completely revalue my investment here. As i don't think all the other assets in their portfolio are worth sticking around and will amount to anything substantial. There are just too many great investments in this sector which provide not only a superior risk/reward outlook but more competent mgmt who deliver results.
Anyway that's it for now, will give this a little more time but i think if they have any regards for their s/h, real transparency with investors or any foresight at all, they would be smart to update the stauts of PIno and if it's still in the books or dead in the water.
Good luck & God speed
