Yes it is an incredible high grade gold discovery. Everything changed in early March. Go check out the March 16th news release. Two days later Eric Sprott started to invest heavily in NFG and all the juniors around them and he hasn't stopped. I guess in his mind he had decided at that point this is Fosterville 2.0 and he was going all in. He has been investing and buying continuously in about a dozen companies in and around this discovery ever since March 16th.
And he was buying NFG right up until May 17th just a few days before this latest phenomenal drill hole on Friday. There has been great drill results from day one with NFG's drill program announced almost every week and right when you think it can't get any better they deliver better intersections. I have said all along this is a once in a lifetime gold discovery and NFG continues to deliver world class high grade drill results. The market will put a premium on this stock because once in production in will make huge profits. The high grade Swan Zone and Eagle Zones at the Fosterville mine owned by Kirkland Lake are 1000 meters deep but the high grade discoveries at Queensway are within a couple hundred meters vertical depth from surface so the cost of mining will be even less.
The 25 meter intersection of 146 g/t is at the southern end of the Keats Zone but the previous release drill hole of 17 meters of 124 g/t was at the northern end of the Keats Zone. So those two high grade holes are about 400 meters apart to give you and an idea of the scale and rich grade of this discovery. And if you look at the Lotto Zone 2 km north of the Keats Zone they are getting very high grade intersections in that zone as well. And who knows what they are getting on the Knob Zone 2 km south of the Keats Zone so these 3 mineralized zones are spread over a 4 or 5 km strike length. Hopefully get drill results soon on the Knob Zone. This discovery is huge and the grade is phenomenal. And the favourable geology (Appleton Fault) extends the entire 115 km length of NFG's Queensway property. The word on the street in Newfoundland is it's a Voiseys Bay worth of gold valued in the tens of billions of dollars. Enjoy the ride!!! This is an investment of a lifetime!!!
