RE:My thought on short data?!?Its hard to make sense of the short data.
On April 30 pyr.to closed at 6.28 and the outstanding short position was 1.33 million shares (
consolidated-short-position-report (iiroc.ca))
According to the iiroc short trading stats, found here
Short-Sale (iiroc.ca) n the first 10 trading days of May an adiitional 2.55 million shares were shorted.
On May 14th the share price closed at 5.12
On the latest consolidated position report, the outstanding shorts on May 15th are 677k.
So the confusing part is that the shorts covered 655k + 2.55million shares and yet the share price decreased by 1.16
now to be fair, PPP did sell 270k worth of shares during this timeframe (before exercising options and adding 865k shares)
But it's puzzling to me that the short trading activity can be so effective. (who in their right mind is selling when the fuse is lit for this thing to explode)
