RE:RE:RE:For those interested in break fees in Canada ...Standard break fees in Canada are 2 to 4% of the deal value. If we use the Q1 MD&A enterprise value of around 14 billion for IPL the 350 MM break fee is about 2.5%. BIP has no hope of arguing this is too high.
