yes there is Vern. covid was an offshot in a class category of mers and sars but is not 100 percent the same so what works in treating those did not work with covid even though it is in the same class category. In fact, when i was watching the news it was clearly stated that even if mers or sars is 96 percent the same as the covid 19 and you develop a vaccine it needs to take into account that 4 percent difference to work. We share 98 percent of the same dna as the chimp yet that 2 percent is magnitudes as to the differences between us and the chimp it is of the same magnitude with the difference between the vaccines that were made for covid 19 and the sequecing similarities of the other family class virus as sars and mers. Now here is the scary thing these are but one category of viruses out there and there are 1000s actually some more dangerous than others so the fact that we are protected from the known strains of covid 19 as to the current vaccine still doesnt guarantee from others and where i strongly feel we will have yearly shots as we do for the flu. But again this is but one catehory of viruses and there are 1000s. That said hospitals still need gowns gloves and masks to provide a sterile environment for everyone who is a patient as well as the health provider same for care facilities so yes there is always a need and these professions consume a lots due to having to dispose them. I am not at all concerned about this front. Where this company needs to step out big time is the protect the force and advanced emergency tech products with far greater profit margins than those of the ppes.
