Notes from today's Tumazos presentation... Brian Szeto presenting.
Order of open pit re-opening (aside from Main Pit re-start): East Pit, then Perch, then the 2 Hermes pits, then Salmon.
H2 2021 will start new surface drill rig, to look under the tailings area, re-examine 'super-pit' potential. Significantly larger concept than Main Pit pushback.
Identified 50 assets which could feed 2nd mill, both internal and within 200km radius.
Exploration update within 2 weeks; and expect them at least quarterly going forward. Project updates coming on Hermes South, and Main Pit pushback.
Last reserve update was 12/2019. Tumazos tried to get a firm date for next reserve update (suggesting end of this month June 2021); but if I heard correctly, Brian said the update would be later than that. Current reserves 380k, resources 5 million oz (m&i and inferred).
Main Pit 2023-2024 timeframe (Brian's guess). Frankly I like this timeframe, as it increases likelihood of internally-funding the pushback, or at least increases the % of the pushback which would be internally-funded.
Don't skip last part of questions. Vy interesting detail on the character of the 1.33 million oz of M&I underground reserves; and how the 3rd rig is helping.
