WOLF MOUNTAIN NEWS FEB 16TH {PAGE3}Future Plans
The exploration plan remains the same where 4 or more holes are planned to the south of
WM00-05, east of WM00-05 and to the west directed at conductive sulphides, particularly
those with magnetic susceptibility anomalies. The strongest magnetic feature, with correlating
PEM, occurs roughly 100 m South of 00-05 and may represent a concentration of sulphides
and oxides in the deepest part of a trough or feeder dyke.
The presence of enriched sulphides suggests that higher grade concentrations of sulphide are
possible within the Seagull intrusion that may contain Noril’sk type grades if semi-massive to
massive sulphides are concentrated at the base of the intrusion. For this reason a concerted
effort to locate these types of sulphide concentrations is warranted.
Mise-a-la-masse surveys are planned to be carried out in the next two weeks to back up the
PEM surveys for locating the sulphide concentrations. Downhole magnetometer surveys are
scheduled for late February to refine the coordinates of the feeder dyke.
Other PGE analysis for Os, Ir, Rh, Ru will be carried out on the sulphide zones in WM01-08
and WM00-05, which will be reported on separately. Sulphur isotope studies are also
underway in Ottawa which will assist in further understanding how the sulphide zones were
formed.
East West and Canadian Golden Dragon are in the process of earning a further 10% interest in
the Disraeli and Seagull properties by spending a further $700,000 by May, 2004 to bring their
combined interest to 60%, leaving Avalon Ventures Ltd. With a 40% working interest. The
present ongoing program is estimated to have spent in the order of $450,000 to the completion
of hole WM01-08, which is expanded from the December proposed $200,000 program due to
the additional downhole geophysics and hole WM00-07 + WM01-08, leaving a remaining
$200,000 to be spent to earn the 60% combined interest.
The two companies are exploring 3 other Noril’sk type targets called Disraeli, Little Sturge,
and Hele.
