Rapid Antigen Tests This was from a Canadian article this morning:
"Rapid antigen tests are effective in determining when transmission of COVID-19 is most likely to occur,” said Dr. Adam Faller, post doctorate fellow in genomics at the University of Guelph. “The vaccines in place today were developed for the original strain of the virus. As the virus evolves and more transmissible variants emerge, rapid antigen tests, along with laboratory-based PCR tests, remain important tools in helping people determine how to best manage COVID-19.”

The company in question had their test approved by HC in February. Not sure why it's taken this long to suddenly start marketing it. From the same article :
“While it’s great that businesses have the opportunity to obtain rapid antigen tests, we believe the demand spans well beyond business,” said JP Bhavnani, managing partner of Haven Testing.
With cases climbing in several countries in South America including Brazil, Columbia (mentioned in a recent NR by THRM) and Peru and many countries in Africa AcuVid has significant potential to change the trajectory.
As an aside the Haven Test has a Sensitivity of 92% and costs $20 per test.
GLTE ...holding patiently!!!
