North American Financial 15 Split Corp. is a Canada-based mutual fund corporation, which invests in a portfolio of over 15 financial services companies. It offers two types of shares, such as Preferred Shares and Class A Shares. Its investment objectives with respect to preferred shares are to provide holders of preferred shares with cumulative preferential monthly cash dividends in the amount of over 5.5% annually and to pay the holders of the preferred shares a certain price per preferred share on or about the termination date. Nahhh, they've been planning this for longer than the DGS shareoffering was announced. When we saw the second share offering within 75 days (2021/02/09 and then again 2021/04/26) for DFN the writing was on the wall for FFN and I've been predicting this for a month at least.

No big deal, I will hold mine (have them in both margin and TFSA accounts) and collect the dividends gladly. If they drop low enough in the next few days I may even add some more.
