Time and $$$ Is it worth the wait? the wait the wait . . .
Time and $$$ Is it worth the wait? the wait the wait . . . I first began waiting on this company to live up to all the hype that was laid down by management back in February when the CEO was saying the financials were going to be released soon. That was mid February when he first used the expression "SOON". We now see what that expression means to this company. We are now waiting for the release of the financials for the first quarter of this year. The CEO says they will be out soon. That expression has lost relivence unless of course we are talking seasons or months, not days as some now believe. Talk has changed of late from this being the next 10x bagger type stock to now being a long term investment which will require time to mature. I have to ask these prognosticators of value, just how much longer should we continue to wait? I know that when I was younger as a child I could buy a bottle of pop for 5 cents then drink it and return the bottle for 2 cents and use that to buy 2 cent worth of penny candy. Now that same bottle of pop costs us $2.00 or more but the same nickle we used to buy the pop with in the 1960's is still only worth 5 cents but the empty bottle is now worth 10 cents.
So using this analogy I have to ask those whom are now suddenly saying that this is a long term investment. How should we consider this? Does that mean the value of the stock will increase over a period of time, The logic being that value is relative. What is worth $1.00 today will cost more next year due to inflation and it seems the only way this companies value will increase is through inflation as . . . if you wait long enough. I'm old now, maybe you younger folk know better than me about such things with your years of life experience. Who knows maybe this will be a 10x bagger stock in time.
