RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Japan Olympics in State of Emergency.Wilander's of the world do not like to hear this view. They would like to convince others that we are very much in play for the whole Tokyo Olympics and even suggest that sales have been made but not unannounced, which of course would be problematic. All I am saying is that closer we get to the opening day and we hear nothing more, it does not look prospective for Olympic sales, and this realistic and sensible view is considered as trolling by the pumpers. Tic-toc, another hour closer to the Olympic opening ceremonies. Not my fault. ;-)

By that time, for some or many delegations that may not have known about it, it is too late. That is the practical marketing problem. The other publicly listed company problem is that you have hours to disclose material events. You aren't selling these today and then disclosing them next week or a couple of weeks from now. I suppose you could, but then you run the public disclosure risk that could bring a slew of undesired and untimely challenges. So, call me a pessimist the closer we get to the Olympics and hear of no additional sales, but there is sound judgment behind it.
People who are waiting for some great disclosure about sales at the Olympics are going to be disappointed. It was too late for that weeks ago, never mind now. At best BC gets a few seconds on the national news about the Canadian team installs as the network goes to a commercial.
