The Company also owns 23 operational dispensaries in seven states. Its subsidiary, Universal Hemp, LLC, distributes, markets, and sells cannabidiol products.

This report suggests that $300 million was reduced to $37 million and dividended out to shareholders of record in the revamped deal.

I distinctly remember seeing that $300 million was special dividended out to shareholders of Acreage but this info suggests I was wrong.

At any rate the deal is still on for Canopy to M and A Acreage. They have a moral obligation after revisiting the first deal.
