RE:Who’s Test Driving Who?Hi Steve,
It's odd that you should mentioned RTs corporate greed and trust level they possess.
With the most recent historical 46,000 year old caves destroyed by RT, recently it was announced that RT would spend $M of dollars cleaning up environmental issues on the South Pacific island of Bougainville at their Panguna copper/gold mine they fled in 1989.
In a nutshell, their tailing ponds from the vacated mining project poisoned community water supplies downstream from the mine, and to this day locals have to walk 2 hours /day to fetch drinking and bathing water.
Further more, this mine caused a 10 year island civil conflict after RT fled the project with 20,000 lives lost.
Fast forward to today, an independent third party was recently assigned the tasks to identify environmental and human rights impacts and risks posed by the mine and develop recommendations for remediation.
IMO, when it is all said and done it will cost RT $B of dollars to cleanup their actions from the past.
This is the latest update on the Panguna Copper/Gold mine-
