Make of it what you will......It seems they are starting to "understand" what it means to be FULLY transparent & keeping lines of comminication with s/h open and keeping them up to date with any material news happening within the company. It's just a damn shame that this mgmt have to be pressured and put in a corner by social media & concerned s/h in order for that to happen. This should have been a simple organic process and should NOT be complicated or construed in any fashion.
Anyway, "some" update FINALLY released by the company (link below), like i said, read it carefully and make up your own minds on what it could imply. I personally DONT like the fact they released this on a FRIDAY right before the week-end and only AFTER being pressured to do so. Secondly, the reason for the big "delays" in releasing drill results were both "technical" & "logisitcs". it seems ONLY Silver Sprout is "experiencing" these problems in Mexico and no one else as far as i can see. And i follow quite a few operations in various states in Mexico, non of which are having the "issues" Silver Sprout is claiming to have.
Like i said, make of this what you will, i personally don't really know if i believe their claims or not. When you a history of NOT being completely transparent & open with your s/h, i tend to lean on the side of NOT giving you the benefit of the doubt and will have to EARN your trust with me. So far, the compamny has been doing a piss poor job at that. IE, their past including the continuous non disclosure of the Pino del Plata situation and the recent dumping/manipulation of shares. If the company wishes to improve their standing with s/h, i strongly suggest they work VERY hard on three fronts. One, give s/h a detailed status report on the hold up with Pino.......asap. This has been in limbo far too long & it looks like the company is either holding back or hiding something concerning that property. Two, when initiating drilling or exploration programmes, aprise s/h IMMEDIATELY of ANY material issues affecting the company or possibly delaying the project. Don't wait for weeks to disclose that s/h AND only after being pressured to do so. Lastly, keep your mgmt team or bod's access to limitless options & share captial very restrictive and should only be given on a performance basis. Do these simple three things, and i guarantee you s/h will have "more repsect" for mgmt doing the "right" thing and trust will automatically flow back.
