Electra Battery Materials Corporation is a Canada-based processor of low-carbon, ethically sourced battery materials. The Company is focused on building a supply of cobalt, nickel and recycled battery materials. It is engaged in the business of battery materials refining, including refining material from mining operations and from the recycling of battery scrap and end of life batteries. It owns two main assets: the refinery located in Ontario, Canada and the Iron Creek cobalt-copper project located in Idaho, United States. Its projects include Ontario Refinery, Recycling, Becancour, North American Nickel and Iron Creek. It is in the process of constructing its expanded hydrometallurgical cobalt refinery, assessing the various optimizations and modular growth scenarios for a recycled battery material (known as black mass) program, and exploring and developing its mineral properties. The Iron Creek Project consists of mining patents and exploration claims over an area of 3,300 hectares.

RE:clarificationUnfortunatly the push towards EV's is not a simple money maker like legalisation of pot was.  While I am sure we are headed towards EV's, its not cut and dried like the greens would have us beleive.  Also to add further complication we have an election that is around the corner and uncertainty over battery composition and an electrical grid that cant handle neighborhoods of home chargers and supply issues and and and.  So why am I here?  I beleive electrification of our transportation systems is inevitable.  There is talk of battery compositions without cobalt but rapid charging and travel distance demands and with our cold climate there is not another commercially available battery available now and near future without cobalt.  The frustrating part is time is very much of the essence here and if Trent Mell and company dont get the lead out we are going no where!  So what is the plan and where do we stand now?  Trent Mell please provide an update.
