RE:RE:RE:MyhoneypotFor sure i have been in touch with them, i have the direct email address for the CFO and IR_person, i don't talk to them through standard channels, the get my messages directly.
I told them i think their approach is retarded, and i don't like what they are doing at Kakwa. The want to reduce the decline at kakwa about 2% a year, year over year.
Does that means they are putting Kakwa on ice for 3 years, while they blow the wad at attachie, and we miss out on years of 1/2 cycle free cashflow for the best economic play in the montney.
Before the combination VII generation had a 1.1 billion budget to produce 220,000 boe a day before covid, then the price crashed and they cut it to 600 million. The have alway been working to reduce decline, but the economics have alway been so good, that no one ever thought of cutting production to do it, that is idiotic.
So does that mean they are going to move the budget up for Kakwa to 1.1 billion and produce 220,000 boe a day, that would likely represent 75% of arcs CF, as kakwa by itself is likely 61 precent right now befor hedging losses. While it producing 220,000 boe a day they can still work on the decline issue.
IMHO
