RE:Long time investors opinionsHi Lockheed1011,
I've been in since the Mamba days...first purchase was August 2012....I have bought (and never sold) along the way...I was very nervous when we went below 8c for a short period of time in 2015, however continued to hold.
My view is to stop looking at the day to day share price movement and believe in the bigger story - a greater demand for higher grade (greener) iron ore, infrastructure projects picking up to resurrect economies, doubling production and then more with Kami, cold pellet technology, billions already invested before we picked up Bloom Lake, excellent management team with proven track record.
There's a couple of ways I see this playing out and both excite me....finding a buyer and ensuring the company maximises share holder value I see as the most likely play, however continuing to run the company as the cash machine it is now with dividends coming 2nd half of the financial year is also very exciting.
If it's scenario 1 then offering dividends doesn't make sense as more value will be returned through the sale of the company with less debt and at a significant premium.
I don't agree with the criticism aimed towards the Management in other posts on the forum and am happy to share that I've voted yes to all resolutions in the upcoming AGM.
Best,
Thumb
