RE:RE:Alberta hospitalizations, 221 cases from 90 few weeks ago...
The part that I don't buy into is the idea that govts are working to enrich pharma. That ain't true.
Govt doesn't care about pharma execs and the balance sheets of the companies. They are public. Would not be surprised if most pensions have exposure to Moderna, BioNTech, Pfizer and J&J. So "the people" are part owners of these vaccine makers. The same people who pay tax and support the evergrowing fungus we call government.
Govts are heavily indebted. If this battle could have been won without vaccines, sure would have been a lot less expensive and tax revenues would have been much higher without lockdowns.
I dunno. I just see a bunch of scared politicians who want to blanket us all with something they hope helps.
Reality is, entire economies were frozen to ensure healthcare system was not overloaded. Now that waves of infections have taken place, and at-risk population has some antibodies, it's time to let the herd go about their daily lives. We're not all going to make it but the odds are that 99.95% of us will not die from covid.
Plenty of information out there for those who want to learn. See what category each person fits into. There is a case to be made for or against vaccination. In the end, we take the risks and we deal with the outcomes.
Thanks for link to presentation Mr Nukester! I didn't know there was a Costco in Wuhan...
