Thank you Differentfleas :-)
This is a very fascinating question.
Posting a positive message doesn't require generating negativity from within and thus doesn't harm the body and the mind.
My personal view is that yes, in some twisted way it may even help the company succeed. It can create an energy of cheering and support from the croud, and if the company's fundamentals are good, such energetic pumping/uplifting may noticeably improve it's performance. Same as when cheerleading supports the sports team. Same as when a child is praised and encouraged in school (even when their current performance isn't good), the chances of them improving, succeeding and even thriving increase alot.
However, feeding people lies, even under a positive umbrella, is always accompanied by some degree of knowing that this could really harm others. It is this knowing that sooner or later will acidically eat one from within.
This "within", often referred to as subconsciousness, stores our every thought and every action, everything we ever been and done. From all this mess, it generates our true self-esteem, which is way more powerful than any superficial self-esteem we may build based on our bank account and our other wealth and achievements.
This true self-esteem is what really decides on our value in the world and our praise/punishment. The latter happens on the internal level (physical and mental wellbeing) and external level (events and people we attract).
Classic literaure is full of great examples of how it all works.
I've seen people who made tens of millions as financial analysts and advisors and yet were experiencing a lot of suffering one way or the other.
I worked with some of them when they were dying from cancer, unable to make sane decisions about their personal affairs and medical treatments.
What goes around, comes around.
Always does.
May we be loving and kind.
May we be well.
