Critical Elements Lithium Corporation is a Canada-based lithium exploration company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition, exploration, development and processing of critical minerals mining properties in Canada. Its projects include Rose Lithium-Tantalum, Rose North, Rose South, Arques, Bourier, Dumulon, Duval, Nisk, Lemare, Caumont, and Valiquette. Bourier Property is comprised of over 304 claims with an area of 15,616.47 ha for over 30 kms. Rose South property consists of over 280 claims.

Gold miner proudly reaches CARBON NEUTRAL

Miners especially gold and silver miners are VERY worried that local communities will block their projects, so they are trying very hard to make the actual mining less dirty for workers; but also less polluting to the surrounding environment. Recently a mine into which a company had poured $ 1 Billion was stopped prior to start up because of a belated complaint by First Nations people so the fear of miners is real. The mne was not in Canada but I can't remember where it was.

) says it will achieve carbon neutrality in 2021 for its own operations (Scope 1 emissions) and has purchased electricity consumption (Scope 2 emissions) through the purchase and retirement of 80,000 tonnes of verified carbon offset credits. The credit retirements form the preliminary phase of a long term emissions reduction strategy underway across Karora's business units.

Karora's selection of offsets was driven by an analysis of carbon reduction and removal quality and credibility as well as the social impact expected from the offset projects selected. Its decision to invest in a reforestation project in Australia was due to its geographical community focus and efforts to help the nation recover from the bushfires of late 2019 and early 2020. "Through this project, we are both offsetting our Scope 1 and 2 emissions as well as ensuring the protection of Australia's unique biodiversity," Huet said.

The retired Australian carbon offsets are independently verified by Gold Standard and qualify as government accredited Australian Biodiversity Units, meeting the standards required for the Australian Government's Climate Active Program.
