Electra Battery Materials Corporation is a Canada-based processor of low-carbon, ethically sourced battery materials. The Company is focused on building a supply of cobalt, nickel and recycled battery materials. It is engaged in the business of battery materials refining, including refining material from mining operations and from the recycling of battery scrap and end of life batteries. It owns two main assets: the refinery located in Ontario, Canada and the Iron Creek cobalt-copper project located in Idaho, United States. Its projects include Ontario Refinery, Recycling, Becancour, North American Nickel and Iron Creek. It is in the process of constructing its expanded hydrometallurgical cobalt refinery, assessing the various optimizations and modular growth scenarios for a recycled battery material (known as black mass) program, and exploring and developing its mineral properties. The Iron Creek Project consists of mining patents and exploration claims over an area of 3,300 hectares.

RE:RE:RE:RE: insider buying is good...isn't it?It seems to me that the volume per day is picking up in a meaningful way. The last equity raise was really a hit to any shareholder that had bought into the stock in the spring of this year and earlier. The ATM offering certainly left a bad taste in my mouth at least.

That being said it takes time and money to start this type of endeavour. The derisking of the funding and extra cashflow the ATM provided will help. This might boil down to both budget and timelines. If the timelines can be brought forward aggressively and come in within budget with the current inflationary pressures that would go along way to cement the effectiveness of the First Cobalt Management Team.

Other than that there is still a signifigant axe over the heads of existing shareholders. This is the eventual reverse split. I see it as a good thing but thats because my average cost is quite low.
