The biggest hurdle for canopy that I see is the US companies. Everyone is saying canopy already has exposure to the US which is true but the size of that exposure is miniscule. Acreage is tiny and 20% of TER is nothing special although I do like TER. The next wave for cannabis is going to be in the US imo. Canopy will already be dwarfed by the big companies in the US this year. The US feels like Canada in 2017 no banks or hedge fund can invest in it yet. They trade on tiny exchanges and have no access to banking services just like the early days of tweed. Either the US companies valuation has to go up or canopys has to go down and what happens when canopy is not the biggest player in the space? Along with competition for investors money being split between more players. These are all important questions that need addressing. ACB even went as far as faking sales because the market is that bad in Canada . Canopy needs to make a huge splash in the US or they're small potatoes
