RE:De-listing My two cents: Maestro is an intermediate, knowledgeable Asian investor that has been pumping the same narrative (with a changing goal posts) for over 6 months.
They call themselves a god and seer, which already is extremely suspect, but notwithstanding, to me they're the typical solo 500K-2mil portfolio investor that loves to s*** on beaten up, good companies in order to get into as low of a position as possible. I actually think he's genuinely long on XBC but will cut through every retail investor he has to in order to secure his position. As filfoux, mentioned, there are a million ways to make money - in my opinion, Kyorin, Filfoux, and Maestro play from very similar playbooks.
The thing about Maestro is that, based on his previous picks in SSNT and CTS, he gets out at the right time when the stock price jumps, and because the majority shareholder is T. Leung, the CEO, I imagine he's either the CEO or in leagues with the Chinese holdings company. People that have over a million dollars are able to find their niche in the Canadian stock market and manipulative the price to suit their needs. It's honestly quite scary to think about and elusive to pinpoint, which is why I'm terrified of Canadian small-cap stocks. This should tell you a lot when I tell you I'm bullish on Xebec.
in conclusion, XBC will not be delisted and there would be an army of news covering this if that was the case. He's a bad faith actor who does whatever he can to make money. You can applaud him for his success, but show disdain towards his style and character. I would never invest like him, because earning money on the backs of other people is not my style.
