RE:CU supply demand balance for H1 2021: 80,000 ton deficit absent the PRC demand in the first half of 21 was down a bit less than 5%, the question with the supply chain and other disruptions is whether demand will bounce back. That is the wild card for cu pricing in 2022 especially with the continued increase in production.

I have been long this stock off and on for ten years, I like the story a lot.

I just have my eyes wide open as I see risks to cu pricing in the intermediate future, not long term.

See the FED announcement today, if the US raises rates quicker than the rest of the world that provides a tail wind to the USD. Not good for cu pricing.
