Joe, I have trying to think what to say to you. It just hit me ! You have answered your own questions. Not everyone is familiar with all the complexities of the Oil and Gas sector. And relying on others for advice is fraught with peril. But there is one thing you usually can believe in and that is dividends. Unfortunately for VET the dividends were completely eliminated due to the Covid Crisis. But they were really not eliminated, merely suspended. So they will be back and probably soon. I think that VET's management now realizes the power of dividends as a confidence builder . Personally I would rather see share buybacks or growth but at our age we cannot wait forever. So hold on till 2022 for those dividends then we will all be able to rest easier.

quote=JoeDev]I believe you're right bro. I never should have left here. I should have listened to you guys that are positive. When you look at it this stock dropped after earning in Aug. And in a month its back up to its yearly high,,,,,almost. I really don't know much about DnD and I don't always understand what I do read sometimes. So I basically rely on you guys to help me. I have to ask questions here and I appreciate it when I get support or clarification when something comes up. All the noise on TV scares me sometimes. But as long as oil stays around 70. I think I can still get back my losses. My pension gets cut back in a couple of yrs at 65. So I hope to make a few bucks by then to cover that. Thanks for everything, all you guys.[/quote]
