RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:So SnidelyPretium is not my example of how to do this... Pretium is my example of all the challenges and pitfalls that can arise when you try to make the quick move from exploration company to production mining.  It isn't nearly as seemless of a transition as people tend to suggest on here.  My comparison to Pretium is to show that just because you have a fireball property, doesn't mean you can just snap your fingers, bring it into production and start cashing the checks.  So no, it is not an example how to do it... it is an example of why NFG shouldn't rush to produce an MRE on Keats and try to bring it into production on their own.

So, I think we are saying the exact same thing.

I have become a fan of yours...but back off on the Pretium comparison!  I was there at the IPO - and it was one of my biggest holdings.  I endured the rollercoaster history of this great company - and saw it decline into mediocrity as they totally flubbed the move from explorer to producer...or maybe this was by design...they simply didn't want us early guys there any more.

Certainly Uncle Joe did nothing for exploration...and neither did Perron as his replacement.  Oh...but they finally did some drilling...and discovered jewelery boxes 15 meters from where they started !  Bob Quartermain was right all along...and his successors were neg!igent!

It broke my heart - I was a VOK believer.  So, I am sorry, but if this is your best example of how to do this...then, Houston, we may have a problem.
