I would worry less about gold corrections and more about highly leveraged property development companies across North America and Europe, much like the Evergrande issues. I read an interesting article that discussed how a lot of economies and the stockmarket in general have only been doing so well based on the ever expanding growth of the real estate market. If housing and condo prices continue to drop, I have a strong feeling the stock market will be headed along the same path. Why not throw some eventual rate increases in there for fun too. Sit back with a bag of popcorn and enjoy the show!
