My read is that v_g got a narrow demographic excited (SH board and possibly others). That's okay; as he says, "It's a Gift!" The broader market will respond with a news release - becasue it's official. The news release will come before the Q3 conference call, possible any day now. It may even be used as pre CAFC PR.
I have zero, let me repeat myself, ZERO concerns that the stay will not result in a Motorola license (NLT USD$0.45/unit) and that the amount will be significant as Motorola is the #3 brand in the USA. Since 2014 the market has shipped >1.1M units that are subject to royalty and Motorola has about an 8% - 10% share. Amongst major brands, I believe that only Samsung is licensed.
This is a huge source of funding to rollout the ITS plan.
