RE:Market downturn...

RE:Market downturn...Bossu, what date did you start professing the market down turn and you being 60% cash.

4 or 5 quarters ago at a minimum. Eventually you will be able to say I told you so. Then you can claim victory. But until then stocks go up and stocks go down. Cherry picking to prove your point is meaningless.

Best example on a solid Company :Fortis has just announced a 6 % increase in its dividend and the reward is a down day and down $ 2,02 in 6 trading days and back lower than it was in 2019 at $ 57
In this case you loose on the share price and the dividend receive lower the loss...
Just mentioning that one ,but there are many others dividend paying company like AQN almost at its bottom since february 2021 and from $ 22,50 to $ 18,50 in 7 months or Boralex down $ 20 on a 8 m0nths period or Innergex  at $ 20 during  the same period and down from $ $ 32 .

As I said some times ago :better be in an overly cash position  with a mere 1 .0 % yield .
if your where in some good gas play like Birchliff or oil play like Vermillion you are better in a better position and the reward is pretty good.

Just to say that I'm watching Fortis now and my target was about $ 56 where it stand now.
Just seeing some blood on the street I'm waiting for a better entry point

Probably not a popular post but that is the situation now !
