A lot of traders/investors believe that a company's shareprice can be influenced on these Bullboards and have built up a belief that there are paid bashers and paid pumpers following every Company on the TSX in an effort to manipulate things to ensure that the retail investor loses, someone has to lose if someone wins.

This may be true on a hot stock but then volume usually gets in the way.

To accuse someone on a bullboard of causing the shareprice on a penny stock to suffer or pop because of their posts is likely a fiction. These accusations often become the weapon of the paid pumper/bashers to distort the truth about a company and cause confusion and fear.

Most posters that supply information and opinion on these boards are not necessarily evil paid employees of some unethical broker or hedgefund.
