Location of drills

Location of drills

So I was out to the site for a quick visit. I didn't talk to anyone as I was tight for time. The JBP Fault is exactly as wajac described it about a week ago with a couple large areas cleared off near Pocket Pond. Still the one drill over there sitting right out in the blueberry patch back on the sweet spot where I saw the boys doing downhole geophysics about a month ago. Big area cleared off with lots of new holes planned for that area by the looks of it.

The Keats Zone still has 4 drills with 3 on the main zone. Two down near the Appleton Fault almost on the shore of Herman's Pond parallel to the Keats Zone. One drill out in the middle but they have got one drill moved halfway between the highway and the power line southwest of the Keats Zone. It will be out on the TCH soon or out on the trailway. You can't see the drill because it is out in the middle of the trees but it's there because I could hear it. I wouldn't bet my life on it but I would bet a 1000 shares of NFG that it was in there Lol

Still two drills on the Golden Joint and they are moving away from the main Appleton Fault back up on the hill working closer towards the Road Showing. The furthest from the fault on any of my visits. That big hill is covered in trees and gravel but you can see favourable rocks in outcrop in a few spots on the southern side of the hill (not wear the are drilling coincidently) So In a straight line the Dome showing and Road Showing aren't far from the Golden Joint. Perhaps that big hill is similar to the Dome prospect that started all of this 20 plus years ago just a whole lot bigger. I think that big hill should be named the Godzilla Hill. Lol  Most likely it's all connected and they have stated that several times hence the name Golden Joint. Not sure why they haven't scrapped all trees and gravel off that big hill for a better look. But I guess they will join it all up eventually.

The Lotto Zone has two drills on it now. So the drill that was over on Zone 36 has been moved back on the other side of the Fault back on the Lotto Zone. One drill on the far northern end and one drill on the far southern end.

And there looks like there could be a trail heading northeast of the Lotto perhaps going to the Big Dave showing. Just guessing but it would make sense.

Another general observation is there were a lot of new core boxes at every zone. Core boxes everywhere. And it looks like they are expanding the New Found Gold core yard in the Appleton Industrial Park. Big area cleared off with crushed rock in place adjacent to the yard. They are expanding. No doubt about it. New big signs up at the entrance way coming off the highway going into the Appleton Industrial Park. New Found Gold sign is right in the middle. All new from a month ago. The turn off from the highway has been widened. All positive by the looks of it. The only negative were the gravel roads going into each zone were really muddy I guess due to a lot of rain recently. They could use a fresh layer of crushed stone. It would make my visits much more enjoyable. Lol. Drill baby drill
