Thanks for the great update Mega. Nice to be able to follow along from across the country.
Yeah I like keeping track of the location of the drills because it gives us an idea of what the geologists are thinking about the direction of mineralization. The Lotto Zone and Golden Joint are getting bigger every month and the Keats Zone is growing in size as well with Mulching operations between the highway and the power line. Noranda drilled a lot of holes on the other side of the highway on the Knob Zone way back when all of this was first discovered. I think they proved up about 100k ounces on the knob prospect at the time and walked away. Rubicon was in there and poked a few holes in it as well but nobody understood the geology at the time and didn't have the big money necessary to drill off this type of gold system. NFG drilled some holes over there in the spring but were forced out of it due to the spring run off in the valley. A lot of gravel that turns into several feet of mud in the spring. I'm sure they will be back across on that side of that side of the highway again.
And of course the vertical component of this entire gold system will be enormous. Dr. Quinton Hennigh is 100% correct saying this will be much bigger than Fosterville. There is high grade gold shoots of gold coming off the entire Appleton Fault everywhere. The pattern has been established now. It will just take an enormous amount of drilling to find it all. Drill baby drill.
Personally I think short term NFG should concentrate more in the area between the Road Showing, Dome Showing and Golden Joint. That entire area will end up like the Lotto or Keats or even better. Not as easy to drill in there because of the hills. There is gold everywhere in there it's just covered up in gravel and trees. You can see the favourable rocks peaking out in different spots around Godzilla Hill. I like that name, perhaps they will adopt it. Lol. Or maybe Golden Hill would be more appropriate to go along with the Golden Joint. It's a great project. Still early days but with that much drilling happening with all of that high grade gold you never know when a real good hole will send the stock soaring. It could happen at anytime. The Golden Valley will deliver. There is no doubt in my mind.
