Great Ajax Corp. is an externally managed real estate company. The Company’s primary business is acquiring, investing in and managing a portfolio of mortgage loans. The Company operates in a single segment focused on re-performing mortgages, and to a lesser extent non-performing mortgages and real property. The Company primarily targets acquisitions of re-performing loans (RPLs), which are residential mortgage loans and non-performing loans (NPLs), which are residential mortgages. RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Not quite over yet - any competing bids?Actually although $.75 is a joke, we can't really expect Kubota to offer much more even if they are willing to pay much more - they have to answer to their shareholders. You can't pay a dollar or more for a company given it's low trading range in the market the last few years and has nothing to show for in it's financials. If another company steps in for a higher offer I'm sure they will match or beat it.
