This one drill hit was at 300 m and was bonanza grade.
The implications are that they have doubled the size of the resource at Keats.
Please read Quinton Hennings comments and if you still do not believe how
significant this is and not worth a halt I would definitely recommend that you
put yourself on ignore. IKE
No ike they haven't doubled the resource with this news release and they don't imply that. This was a separate lower zone. It's great news but not a doubling of the resource. The implications are that there will be many many high grade zones at depth. It could be much more than doubling the resource eventually as they drill deeper but it's still far too early to know for sure.
So now they have confirmed what Dr. Quinton Hennigh has been saying all along that the Queensway property will be bigger and better than Fosterville. We just don't know the size of the resource yet and just because they hit that much further down doesn't automatically double the resource. Besides this was a different zone in the footwall of the deposit. Still early days but everything is pointing to a gold system that is very robust and it's very rich.
Read up on Fosterville guys and you will be buying NFG hand over fist. This one is better in my opinion because of the very long strike length of the Appleton Fault. And now we know it goes deep. Great news but you can't assume it doubles the resource. That isn't the way it works. Not enough information yet but it's looking better and better all the time.
