Greenhouse Gas Emissions From Major Industrial Sources - III Iron and steel Production (ieaghg.org)

" ... Typical emissions from a blast furnace ... Carbon dioxide ... 280000-500000 ( g/ton of pig iron ) ... "

So if smeting one ton of C.C. produce, let's say 500000g of co2, then 10 tons per day would yield 5 tons of carbon dioxide.
Even at $100.00 per ton carbon credit, that is only $500.00 per day.
Not a big deal in regards of $100M/year operation.
So, take it easy, RR.
