RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:If I was running SuncorI could have said that better. I appreciate the benefit of many this community in sharing their understanding, thoughts, and information. I was trying to point out to some of us that we should not expect our thoughts, demands, and threats that we express here to have any effect on management's choices and direction of the company. They are not listening. The best opportunity for that is during shareholders meetings, where concerns and confidence in the leadership are put to a vote.
As a kid, I remember being able to ask the stewardess if I could visit the cockpit, which was a eye popping experience to see the aircraft controls in flight. Nowadays, the doors on the cockpits are locked for a good reason, to prevent the passengers from interfering with the controls to ensure the safety of the plane.
Thanks to those for the thoughtful informative posts.

There are only two provisos : Openness and respect. I see a lot of it and it should be commended from time to time. So thank you everyone !!
Good point.
During my life I have spent countless hours/days on planes and at airports. Migraine's analogy about sitting on the plane and let the pilot do his job is good advice. That said, I have learned a lot during my time on airplanes and in airports and made some lifelong friends and business associates. The same opportunity exists through participation on these Boards (at least the ones where people treat each other with respect and are willing to share their knowledge and expertise for the benefit of others).
