Reading Repsol's Jaguar1 recap and summary they were also thinking about a continguency liner because their FIT was only 19.6 ppg and they expected pore pressures over 20 ppg in the Turonian
MI had the mud on Jaguar. They told Repsol that the mud would turn into toothpaste at over 20 ppg using a barite for weight material based mud. To go over 20 ppg they'd need to go to a hematite for weight material based mud and there was no hematite in stock in Trinidad.
So we get super high pore pressures in Jaguar yet not so bad in Kawa? I'll defer to the experts to explain that.
