Also in checking the topography map of the area, the Appleton Fault is about 2.75 km east of the Town of Appleton. I have the Appleton Fault crossing the TransCanada Highway right where the Newfoundland T'Railway crosses the highway.
Yes that is all 100% factual. I'm just saying that at about 10 km north (plus or minus a few km) the Appleton Fault crosses the Gander River and remains on the western side of the river right out to Dog Bay. The Gander River flows into the North Atlantic into Gander Bay. And Gander Bay is east southeast of Dog Bay.
