RE:Day trading versus years of nothing. I don't mean any offence to you goat. But your investment definition flys in the face of all I know or at least have experience with.
Personally, I don't have an issue with daytraders. On opportunity I will buy those shares as well and will hold them.
Holding shares doesn't contribute to price declines, in fact it is quite the opposite. To me it would seem that daytraders foolishly getting on the wrong side of volitily does.
Locking in profits is one thing. But 14 percent gain on a .26 aps and saying that's worth trying to day trade is pretty insane to me.
