RE:Not the time to worry about technical process riskBigJake, as someone who has worked in solution mining, no one needs to tell you the inherant challenges often faced by potash miners when designing / building solution mine caverns in Saskatchewan.

I assume your experience is related to conventional solution mining, which of course is a very different animal in both mining tech and production from horizontal selective solution mining.

Once GSP is trading on the London exchange, finding the equity required to move this project forward will likely be next on the agenda, followed by mine construction preparation.

As mentioned more times than I can remember, I am very hopeful GSP, Buffalo Potash, Beechy, Western, or whoever figures out the scientific downhole puzzle, as all involved will benefit greatly from the new technology.

It is always interesting to read the distain for other hopeful juniors in this industry, by those tunnel visioned shareholders who dont fully understand the enormous task at hand.

Wanting it or willing it to happen is not enough.

Western Resources attempt at horizontal selective solution mining has revealed very valuable information that the folks at GSP can use to their benefit.

Western has proven the novel horizontal mining through thin seams of sylvite can be accomplished. That is great news as GSP will be relying on the same technology according to the Tech Reports.

Western has also encountered issues in brine / heat calculations in order to pull expected KCl from the caverns. That data will be invaluable to others in the same field as that is the same method in which all selective solution miners will need to rely on.

Gensource appears confident their lab testing will be adequate in the following comments in the latest Tech Report, and I really hope they can pull it off

"The Project team is very comfortable with the existing industry data, in-house knowledge and expertise in the mining and processing techniques, test work completed specifically for the Project, and conservative assumptions and factors applied in the engineering and design. Included in the engineering work completed to-date, several process design features have been implemented to address and mitigate potential risks due to varying geology, brine concentrations, potential contaminants, impurities entering the process, etc. For instance, an over-design factor of 10 to 15 percent was incorporated into the plant process design (and therefore equipment sizing) to enable processing lower than expected KCl concentrations."


For those who have been around since 2013, this GSP presentation is a great resource in proving just how fluid this task is, as the initial go to down hole designs have changed
