RE:RE:RE:RE:I liked this from AVL test conclusions ...Sue's principal concern should be that a very large company has developed "alternate" methods of delivering similar benefits but at significantly lower costs. PERIOD. END OF STORY.

Rest assured that EXRO is keeping a very close eye on the marketplace by way of its partnerships and its own internal efforts.

But don't lose sight of the fact that new tech doesn't come to market "overnight". Its a long, involved and arduous process. Anything to worry about would have to have been in the works for some number of years already and it is very hard to keep a lid on "secret tech" for very long in such an integrated marketplace.

There is more than enough market for more than one solution to the same problem(s) and no single vendor will dominate the market to the extent that being 2nd or 3rd wouldn't qualify as significant success stories.

If competitive tech were to developed by a potential EV customer of Exro's then it is likely said tech would be kept for in house use only and not distributed widely amongst competitive brands. As the commoditization of EVs increases then differentiation becomes more difficult.

Software will become increasingly important as well. I am guessing that EXRO will use software as its key to differentiating how the Coil Driver tech is deployed on a customer by customer basis. An on that basis they could develop product price points within markets and brands yet utilize the same hardware.

As for patent infringement, yes its possible, but large companies that purchase tech do a lot of due diligence before they purchase. They will have teams of engineers and lawyers going over the tech with a fine tooth comb to ensure it doesn't infringe on someone elses patent and even after all of that, they will impose indemnification clauses on all suppliers.

The last thing they want is to deal with injunctions for patent infringement.
