The withdrawal
Hi all. I was just thinking about that SEDAR document where they indicated a withdrawal of shelf offering. It seems that everyone here agrees that that is a signal that they are ok financially and don't need that in their back pocket. If so I'm glad to hear.
But I'm curious....
How do registered offering or shelf offerings work? If they withdrew it to send a signal that they are not going to drop out the price with more stock issue, that is wonderful news. But how easily can that be changed? If price jumps back to where it was a few years ago, how easily and how fast would it take to do another stock offering/cash raise. I guess I'm wondering if it is a strong signal or not. If they can do a new offering easily in a month or two, what does it really mean to withdraw the previous proposal?
Thanks to anyone who understands the behind the scenes technicals. I'm just learning.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend.
