COPPERSince Nexus" geologist has eyes for gold - i decided to go on the hunt for Nexus" first 6 drill holes
I wanted t osee if there were signs of copper -
Nexus has made mention of, Chalcopyrite, but....
I'm seeing the transitional phases of Chalcopyrite which turns to hues of green and blue.
Malachite and Azurite.
Anyone else ? First core pic in hand - i'm seeing green and vlue's.
Even the light colored cores have flecks of coloration.
The cores off to the right side of photo - open this pic up -
i'm seeing cores that are fenched in hues of - blues.
Thing is....
Nexus has only pressed out - gold assays.
And - if the above pic is assigned to the first 6 holes - i'm thinking along the lines of,
Nexus should be doing a double take on thier cores - seeking a copper grade.
I would say.... green and blue copper sulphides might be present in a very good way.
And.... as so, the first 6 holes and all other holes could shape this project in a whole new light
that being - instead of racking up gold veins the copper content could justify a diff block modelling for a potential copper / gold deposit in which copper supports and carries the gold voids.
Not hard to send off some of thsoe green and blue cores for a copper assesment.
Should've been done as soon as the blues and greens were seen, In fact... do a double take on Cypress" former cores - at same time.
If copper is present with decent grades - such could offer a great EQ. mineral value.
Here's 2 drill hole placement maps - good to know how this Mc Kenzie project is being
drilled out - open photo diagrams in another window for better viewing.
This photo is focused on - scheelite ( titanium ) yet... just look at all the blues... omg...!
Almost reminds me of - indigo gabbro copper -
Here's another pic of cores - greens and blues.
Sorry... but my first impression is - malachite and azurite.
and... white cores are marlbe = over heated rhyolites ( limes )
Gabbro style - blues -
Yup....
send some cores off for copper testing.
Some of these drill holes have long intercepts of these greens and blues.
If it's copper this project could be looked at in a whole new light - economic wise -
basing each cubic on a value of copper content with bonus gold. or, visa versa.
Cheers....
